Exploring Baltimore has become such an interest of mine since I began my studies of photography at Goucher College. I took a news reporting class and that got me out into the city because I wanted to look at something real going on in the local community. I started going in at night because that’s usually when I had the time and it gave me such a different view of the city. I became fascinated with Baltimore nightlife and the different parts of the city and that’s what prompted this project.
Moving forward I focused less on the news and more on the different places and the diverse landscape of the city.
